Rotary Projects
Camp ASCCA
Auburn Rotary Club members volunteer at Camp ASCCA as well as contribute yearly donations to support the facilities and maintain the operations of Camp ASCCA. We have continued to support the Rotary Environmental Center which the club helped build and helps maintain. The Rotary Environmental Center at Camp ASCCA is a place where Alabama's youth can learn "hands on" about plants, wildlife, and the environment in general. The facility features a classroom, exhibit room, and an audio-visual room.
Boys and Girls Club
Auburn Rotary Club supports our local Boys and Girls Club through various volunteer activities, assisting them with membership drives and activities, and with donations from money raised through community service projects.
Tennis Tournament
Each year, the Auburn Rotary Club puts on a tennis tournament and raises money through paid tennis matches for community needs. Participants pay or sponsor a tennis player to play in the tournament and all proceeds go back to community support.
Siliguri Rotary Blood Bank
In 1995-1996, the Auburn Rotary Club became an international partner with the Rotary Club of Montgomery, AL, the Rotary Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Siliguri (India). The Auburn Rotary Club, along with its two sister clubs, contributed $5,000 to establish the blood bank. The Rotary Foundation made a matching grant of $15,000. Today, the Paul P. Harris Siliguri Rotary Blood Bank continues to recognize our club's contribution to a safe community blood supply by including our name on its building and letterhead.
