Rotary and ACS Honor Teachers of the Year

Posted May 20, 2014

The Auburn Rotary Club, in conjunction with Auburn City Schools administrators and school board members, honored at the club's May 14 meeting the system's top elementary and secondary teachers of the year. Beth Antoine, ACS' secondary teacher of the year, is a language arts and mass media educator at Auburn High School, where she has taught for more than 10 years. Kelly Hollingsworth, ACS's elementary teacher of the year, currently a music educator at Cary Woods Elementary, has also taught at Auburn Early Education Center and Richland Elementary School during her decade of teaching in Auburn City Schools. Both are multiple-year, school-level recipients of the annual award. The Auburn Rotary Club presents to each of the system's top two teachers a certificate and honorarium to use for classroom resources.
