Auburn Public Library's Expansion From Traditional Services

Posted March 17, 2014

Auburn Rotarian and Auburn Public Library Director Chris Warren (right) recently shared with fellow Auburn Rotary Club members about the library’s various services. In addition to traditional lending-library services, the Auburn Public Library has expanded extensively its electronic offerings through an online e-book and audiobook lending program, not to mention library-based electronic information services through Internet and Wi-Fi connectivity. Last year, the Auburn Rotary Club began donating books to the Auburn Public Library in honor of its weekly speakers as part of Rotary International’s continuing focus on literacy. Books are placed in the library’s collection and include a bookplate with the name of the speaker. Pictured with Warren is Club President Jim McLaughlin (left).
